Prithviraj SinghDehradun, May 21 -- Six Chardham devotees returning from Badrinath Shrine had a narrow escape on Wednesday as a helicopter they were on board had to make an emergency landing at a farmland owing to technical snag.

Passengers were found safe even as the rear part of the heli sustained substantial damage.

According to the information shared by the local police, the helicopter belonging to Trans Bharat Aviation Company experienced a technical snag over Chamba-Arakot area on its return sortie from Badrinath to Dehradun in the morning.
