Thiruvananthapuram, April 29 -- Efforts to remove long-pending police custody, accident and scrap vehicles from public spaces in the state capital have gained momentum following intervention by the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).

In a press release issued here today, TCCI stated that its representation to the government highlighting the issue has prompted action from authorities. The Chamber has pointed out that vehicles lying unattended for long periods in front of police stations across Thiruvananthapuram were negatively impacting the city's appearance, particularly in areas near prominent public institutions and tourist destinations.
