New Delhi, Oct. 24 -- In a shocker, an approximately 18-year-old girl student of 12th standard was found in a burnt condition behind a school's guard room in East Delhi's Krishna Nagar area, the police said on Saturday.
The girl with severe burns was rescued by the fire service personnel who rushed her to hospital, but was declared brought dead. The firee serivice had reached the spot on an alert athat a girl had set herself ablaze.
According to a senior police official, a PCR call regarding a fire incident was received from a school in Krishna Nagar, East Delhi, and soon staff from the Krishna Nagar Police Station had been rushed to the spot, where they found the female student in a burnt condition.
