Pune, Aug. 22 -- A case has been registered against several Congress workers following an alleged clash outside the College of Engineering Pune (COEP).
As per the information available, Shivajinagar police have registered a case against Congress workers, including Youth Congress office-bearers, in connection with the disturbance outside the prestigious engineering college. Congress worker Akshay Jain has also been named in the case, along with several other party workers.
The incident reportedly took place outside the COEP campus and subsequently resulted in a police complaint being lodged at the Shivajinagar Police Station. The police have initiated legal proceedings against the persons suspected to be involved in the incident.
