New Delhi, July 25 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday withdrew its agitation over the NEET examination controversy following three rounds of talks with the central government, after receiving assurances on its key demands, including withdrawal of FIRs against protesters, compensation for affected families and consideration of examination reforms.
A CJP delegation comprising Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, along with a central government delegation comprising union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh and union Minister JP Nadda, held a joint press conference at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi after the third round of discussions.
