New Delhi, July 25 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday announced the immediate withdrawal of its agitation after the third round of talks with government representatives, stating that its key demands had been accepted.
The meeting between the CJP delegation comprising Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka and union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh was held at the Constitution Club and lasted nearly two hours.
Addressing reporters at a joint press conference after the meeting, CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had resigned, fulfilling one of the movement's principal demands.
