New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) today accused the Centre of failing to honour assurances made to students and protesters, claiming that the Supreme Court had sought details of FIRs registered against protesters across the country to explore the possibility of quashing them.
In a statement here, CJP's Spokesperson Saurav Das said the Supreme Court sought the consolidated list of First Information Reports from the union Government three times during the day's hearing, but alleged that the Centre's counsel did not commit to providing the information and opposed the move.
