Shimla, Feb. 26 -- A day after a dramatic early-morning operation at a resort in Chirgaon triggered an inter-state police confrontation, 20 members of the Special Crime Branch of Delhi Police and three Youth Congress activists were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Shimla, in connection with the FIR registered by Himachal Pradesh Police.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the CJM allowed the transit remand of the three Youth Congress workers, permitting Delhi Police Crime Branch to take them into custody and transport them to Delhi for further investigation.
