Muskan BhatiaNew Delhi, July 24 -- Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, who was invited to be the chief guest at a convocation ceremony at OP Jindal University, has declined to preside over it, official sources at the university confirmed.
Instead, Justice PS Narasimhan will preside over the function scheduled for July 25, said officials.
Though the source did not clarify when the Chief Justice declined the invitation, the development comes amid an ongoing student protest over alleged NEET examination paper leaks affecting millions of young people.
