Patna, Sept. 26 -- Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Suryakant today said the rising incidence of drug use among children and adolescents cannot be treated merely as a health issue and must be addressed as a critical child-protection concern, with education, trust and self-esteem given priority in rehabilitation.
Addressing a programme on 'Childhood Beyond Drugs: Protection, Care and Reintegration' organised by Pataliputra Pragya Pravah at Lok Bhavan here, Justice Suryakant said a child caught in drug abuse should not be viewed merely as a problem or as being at fault.
