Washington, June 16 -- CIA Director John Ratcliffe has told President Donald Trump and senior administration officials that US intelligence assessments raise serious questions about whether Iran is prepared to make the nuclear concessions Washington is seeking in a final agreement, according to sources familiar with the discussions.

The concerns emerged during a series of high-level meetings ahead of Sunday's announcement of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the US and Iran.

According to sources, intelligence gathered by several US agencies suggested that Iranian officials were discussing the agreement internally in ways that differed from the messages being conveyed to mediators and American negotiators, reports Axios.
