Hyderabad, July 29 -- Students of CHIREC International School secured top honours at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India 2026 Hyderabad Regional Competition, with the school's teams winning first prize in the Elementary category and second prize in the Senior category.
The school also hosted the Hyderabad regional competition for the first time.
The HeritageX team from CHIREC's Kondapur campus won the first prize in the Elementary category for developing "CulturaShield", an AI-powered heritage monitoring system designed to detect air pollution, structural cracks and marble deterioration at cultural monuments, including the Taj Mahal, the School said in a release here on Wednesday.
