New Delhi, June 22 -- China announced a new action plan aimed at strengthening foreign investment, including allowing qualified foreign-funded companies to list on domestic stock exchanges.

The policy package was jointly issued by China's Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Finance. The measures are part of Beijing's broader efforts to revive economic activity and improve investor confidence.

Under the new framework, eligible foreign equity investment firms will also be permitted to participate in share issuances by certain listed companies.
