Beijing/New Delhi, March 19 -- China on Thursday expressed shock at the Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz's remark that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had authorised the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) to kill any Iranian official without the need for additional authorisation and said the attacks on civilian targets are by no means acceptable.
''China is against the use of force in international relations. The killing of Iranian leaders and attacks on civilian targets are by no means acceptable,'' Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said.
