Imphal, April 22 -- The Manipur crisis which started on May 3, 2023 orphaned many children but the intervention of a Trust has enabled them resume their normal lives specially education.
Twin sisters from Kakching Khunou passed their Class 12 examinations which were recently declared with 87.2% and 86.4% . They lost their father during the crisis. Two other brothers, all siblings are still continuing their study, supported by Wings of Hope Charitable Trust.
All the children are looked after by their mother only by her taking up agricultural work and by weaving traditional Manipuri textiles at home. Her relentless efforts and dedication have helped the family navigate through hardship and uncertainty. The elder twin wants to become an army...
