Asansol, May 28 -- Adrik Hiliriyan (11), a class six student of St. Vincent's High and Technical School, one of the most reputed and oldest missionary schools in West Bengal's Asansol, lost his life during a swimming training session at the school's pool on Thursday morning.
The incident has created a huge stir. It is one of the oldest missionary schools in Eastern India. It's alumnai are located throughout the globe.
He was a resident of Huchuk Para in the Lower Chelidanga area under Asansol South Police Station. Questions have been raised about the maintenance and monitoring system of the swimming pools inside the school campus.
