Chikkaballapur (Karnataka), Aug. 5 -- - Tension prevailed in three taluks of Chikkaballapur district on Wednesday as supporters of Congress MLA S N Subbareddy observed a bandh protesting against his exclusion from the Karnataka Cabinet expansion.
The bandh was held in Bagepalli, Gudibande and Chelur taluks, where supporters, local Congress workers and activists took out rallies demanding that Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and the Congress leadership reconsider the decision and provide a ministerial berth to the senior legislator.
