Lucknow, Sept. 15 -- The Chief Minister's Relief Fund in Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a vital source of financial support for people facing economic hardship, serious illnesses, and other adverse circumstances.
The scope of assistance has expanded steadily, ensuring relief reaches needy individuals across the state without discrimination.
An analysis of available data shows that between the financial years 2021-22 and 2025-26, a total of 244,263 beneficiaries received assistance amounting to Rs 4,324.60 crore. During this period, the annual number of beneficiaries increased from 16,640 to 74,531, registering nearly a 4.5-fold rise.
