Chandigarh, May 22 -- Acting on complaints related to drinking water in Sector 38 West, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh Chief Engineer Sanjay Arora conducted a spot inspection of the affected area on Thursday and directed officials to take immediate corrective measures.
The inspection was carried out in the presence of area councillor Gurbax Rawat, senior Municipal Corporation officials and residents. During the visit, the Chief Engineer reviewed the condition of the underground water supply infrastructure and instructed the concerned Executive Engineer to carry out a thorough inspection of the entire water supply line to detect any possible leakage.
