Raipur, May 6 -- The Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday transferred and assigned new responsibilities to 43 IAS officers in a major bureaucratic reshuffle.
The changes affected several key departments as well as district administrations across the state.
The transfer order was issued with immediate effect by the General Administration Department.
Among the major changes, senior IAS officer Richa Sharma was shifted from the Forest and Climate Change Department and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department. She has also been given additional charge of Director General of the Thakur Pyarelal State Institute of Panchayat and Rural Development and Development Commissioner.
