Raipur, June 13 -- Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today announced a major relief for National Health Mission (NHM) employees by declaring payment of wages for the 33-day strike period, while reaffirming the state government's commitment to strengthening healthcare services across Chhattisgarh.
The announcement was made during the state-level convention of the Chhattisgarh National Health Mission Employees' Association held at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur.
Addressing a large gathering of NHM employees, Sai described them as the "backbone" of the healthcare system and acknowledged their crucial role during pandemic and in delivering medical services to people living in remote and inaccessible regions of the state. He said the...
