Thiruvananthapuram, May 14 -- Following the Congress high command's decision to name V. D. Satheesan as the next Chief Minister of Kerala, the party leadership has launched intensive efforts to resolve internal dissatisfaction and pacify senior leader Ramesh Chennithala.
Chennithala's absence from the Legislative Party meeting and his quiet exit through a back door from his Vazhuthacaud residence-thereby avoiding waiting media personnel -has been widely interpreted as a sign of deep discontent within the party ranks.
