Prithviraj SinghDehradun, July 28 -- The Uttarakhand government has suspended the ongoing Chardham pilgrimage to Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath for two days in view of landslides and blocked roads following heavy rains across the state.

Schools and government offices were also ordered to close following orange and yellow alerts sounded by the meteorological department for 10 districts, mainly for the hill areas.
