Chandigarh, Feb. 25 -- The fourth day of the Haryana Assembly's budget session was marred by chaos and a subsequent walkout by Congress lawmakers on Wednesday.
The disruption began during question hour when Congress MLA from Rohtak, BB Batra, supported by leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, alleged that several party leaders had been placed under house arrest across the state, as well as near the party office in Sector 9.
Hooda raised concerns about the security and freedom of his party members, demanding an immediate explanation from the government. "Our safety is at stake, and the government must provide an answer. If they refuse to respond, we will not allow the Chief Minister to leave the Assembly," Hooda asserted.
