Patna, May 22 -- Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today said that the global recognition accorded to India's lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 is a matter of immense pride for the nation and a testament to the country's growing scientific capabilities.

Choudhary said here that India created history by successfully landing on the Moon's south pole, an achievement that has now been acknowledged at the global level. He noted that Chandrayaan-3 has been conferred with the prestigious 2026 AIAA Goddard Astronautics Award for its successful soft landing and its remarkable contribution to future lunar exploration missions.
