Chandigarh, July 8 -- In a major push to strengthen Chandigarh's public transport system, Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday directed the Chandigarh Administration to improve bus connectivity, increase service frequency on busy routes and develop a smarter transport network across the Tricity region.
Chairing a high-level review meeting with senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration, the Administrator stressed the need for a commuter-centric public transport system that is efficient, accessible and environmentally sustainable.
