Panchkula, Aug. 16 -- Chandigarh has a stronger network of football training facilities than neighbouring Haryana, Punjab and Delhi, with one Sports Authority of India (SAI) centre and two Khelo India Accredited Academies, according to official data.
The figures show that "Chandigarh has one SAI centre and two Khelo India Accredited Academies for football training", while "Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi each have only one Khelo India Accredited Academy."The football training network is part of a broader government effort to identify and develop sporting talent.
