Chandigarh, June 3 -- The Municipal Corporation (MC) Chandigarh has initiated steps to improve civic infrastructure behind the showroom belt along Madhya Marg in Sector 26, with plans to repair the rear service road and strengthen the lighting network in the area.
The decision was taken following a detailed inspection conducted by MC Chief Engineer Sanjay Arora, who visited the site along with senior officials, including Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers from the Engineering and Electrical Wings. The inspection was carried out after traders and showroom owners highlighted concerns regarding the deteriorating condition of the service road and related civic infrastructure.
