Chandigarh, July 27 -- Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee president Rao Narender Singh on Monday accused the BJP government of failing to improve the state's school education system, alleging that the union government's own education data had exposed serious shortcomings in infrastructure, teacher availability and recruitment despite years of official claims of reform.

Referring to the latest UDISE report released by the union Ministry of Education, Rao claimed the findings contradicted the Haryana government's repeated assertions of transforming the education sector.
