Panchkula, Sept. 4 -- The Centre has revised the Phased Manufacturing Programme (PMP) for N2- and N3-category electric trucks under the PM E-DRIVE scheme, laying down domestic manufacturing requirements for traction motors, integrated motor-transmission systems, and traction motor controllers from April 1, 2027.
The Ministry of Heavy Industries notified the amendments on September 3, revising Serial Nos. 8, 9 and 10 of the PMP for N2 and N3 e-trucks. The amendment took effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, while the manufacturing requirements specified in the revised schedule carry their respective implementation dates.
