However, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has dismissed these claims as "fake," reiterating that fuel prices remain unchanged.
The rumours started circulating after certain sections of media reported that petrol and diesel prices could rise by Rs 25-28 per litre after the ongoing Assembly elections.
