Bhubaneswar, Aug. 12 -- Odisha is set to play a larger role in India's emerging strategic science and technology landscape, with the Centre seeking to integrate the State's rare earth resources, marine wealth, biotechnology ecosystem, space capabilities and scientific institutions into a unified development framework.
The roadmap was discussed by union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences and MoS in the PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh, and Odisha Science & Technology Minister Krushna Chandra Patra.
