Panchkula, Sept. 4 -- The Centre has invited applications for 26 scholarships for children of employees of Non-Statutory Departmental Canteens working in central government offices and establishments, with yearly support ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs 15,000 depending on the course of study.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has invited applications for scholarships for 2025-26 and 2026-27, based on students' results in the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26, respectively.
According to an Office Memorandum issued by the department, the scheme provides scholarships in 20 different subjects. The scheme is funded from the Discretionary Fund of the Director of Canteens.
