Agartala, Aug. 2 -- The Central government has allocated Rs 699 crore as central tax share, with the criteria of the Finance Commission's devolution formula to assist the state in expediting infrastructure projects, welfare programs, and developmental efforts.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha expressed gratitude to the central government, appreciating their dedication to national progress.

He highlighted that this initiative will significantly enhance welfare, infrastructure, and socio-economic growth in Tripura.
