New Delhi, Sept. 20 -- The Centre and West Bengal government will hold an apex-level review meeting on Monday to assess the implementation of fisheries and aquaculture schemes in the state and chalk out a roadmap for tapping its untapped potential in the sector.
Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari will co-chair the meeting in Kolkata, which is being organised by the Department of Fisheries, Government of India, after more than a decade.
West Bengal Minister of State (Independent Charge), Department of Animal Resources Development and Fisheries, Rajesh Mahata, will also be present at the meeting.
