Dharamshala, June 6 -- Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, who is on a four-day visit to Kangra and Chamba districts from June 5 to 8, reviewed election-related activities and interacted with election officials, Booth Level Officers (BLOs), BLO Observers and other personnel in Dharamshala.
Addressing a meeting at a hotel in Dharamkot, the CEC described BLOs and BLO Observers as the backbone of the electoral system and underscored their crucial role in maintaining accurate, reliable and inclusive electoral rolls.
