New Delhi, June 11 -- Chief of Defence Staff General NS Raja Subramani on Thursday paid his maiden visit to the Headquarters Western Air Command (WAC), where he underscored the importance of Jointness, Atmanirbharta, and Innovation (JAI) as key pillars for building a future-ready and self-reliant Indian military.
During the visit, the CDS interacted with Air Marshal George Thomas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Western Air Command, and addressed officers of the command. He highlighted the transformative role of integrated military functioning and stressed that human resource capital remains the ultimate force multiplier in enhancing the operational effectiveness of the Armed Forces.
