New Delhi, May 25 -- Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on Monday underscored the importance of "JAI", Jointness, Atmanirbharta and Innovation, as the guiding pillars of the ongoing transformation of the Indian Armed Forces, while addressing Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), Other Ranks (ORs) and civilian staff of Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) and the Department of Military Affairs at the Manekshaw Centre.
During the interaction, General Chauhan highlighted that the Indian military is passing through a historic phase of change aimed at strengthening integration among the three Services, enhancing operational synergy and developing capabilities suited to future warfare requirements.
