New Delhi, April 29 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday unveiled its Parenting Calendar for the academic session 2026-27, expanding a key initiative aimed at strengthening structured engagement between parents and schools while promoting students' holistic development.
In a circular issued here, CBSE Secretary Himanshu Gupta said the initiative aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasises collaborative and inclusive approaches to education.
Introduced initially in 2025-26, the Parenting Calendar received widespread participation from schools, parents, and educators, reinforcing its relevance in the current educational landscape.
