New Delhi, April 23 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released the datesheet for the second cycle of Class 10 board exams, with tests scheduled from May 15 to May 21, 2026.
Under the new two-exam system introduced this year, the cycle will begin with Mathematics (Standard and Basics) papers and conclude with the Social Science exam on May 21.
The second attempt is optional and allows students to improve their scores in up to three subjects. However, only those who appeared in the main examination in at least three subjects will be eligible. Students who missed three or more papers in the first exam will not be allowed to appear.
