New Delhi, May 26 -- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has dismissed claims circulating on social media that its On Screen Marking (OSM) portal used for evaluation of answer books was compromised, asserting that no security breach has occurred in the system used for actual assessment work.
The clarification came after a social media user claimed that the CBSE OSM portal had been breached on February 25, 2026, a claim that subsequently formed the basis of several media reports.
