New Delhi, July 9 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday filed 11 charge sheets in connection with the Mahadev App betting syndicate, including six charge sheets in the alleged corruption case and five in a separate case related to the illegal betting network.
In the corruption case, the agency filed six charge sheets against Ashim Das, Rohit Gulati, Vikas Chhaparia, Anil Dhammani, Vishal Ahuja, and Dheeraj Ahuja under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, along with offences of cheating, forgery, and criminal conspiracy under the IPC. The CBI also submitted additional evidence against the alleged kingpins of the syndicate, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, who had already been charge-sheeted earlier.
