New Delhi, June 23 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested senior IAS officer Pankaj Agarwal, who was serving as the Principal Secretary of the Department of School Education and the Department of Agriculture, in connection with the misappropriation of government funds from the accounts of the Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad (HSSPP) and the Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board (HSAMB) maintained at the Sector 32, Chandigarh branch of IDFC First Bank.
He will be produced before the court on Tuesday.
