Latur, May 21 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a well-known pediatrician from Latur in connection with the NEET paper leak investigation, alleging that he procured the leaked examination question paper for his son before the test.
According to investigating agencies, Dr Manoj Sharure was arrested following fresh developments in the ongoing probe into the NEET paper leak case.
Sources said investigators suspect that the leaked question paper was allegedly obtained through the accused Motegaonkar, who had already been arrested earlier in the case.
Following leads that emerged during interrogation, the CBI had intensified investigation activities in Latur over the past several days.
