Chennai, Sept. 24 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested Abhishek Kumar, one of the kingpins and wanted accused in the Chhattisgarh Mahadev Online Betting App Scam.
He was arrested immediately upon his arrival from Dubai at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.
Investigations conducted so far revealed his active role in running online betting and gambling operations under Mahadev Book, inco-ordinating the panels, in collection of funds and in acquiring immovable assets in Dubai out of the ill-gotten proceeds of bettingand gambling.
