Lucknow, May 22 -- The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) - CPI (ML) - has expressed deep outrage over the alleged continuous rise in atrocities against Dalits and casteist attacks in Uttar Pradesh.
The party claimed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's claims of 'zero tolerance' have been totally exposed, and under his rule, the morale of feudal and dominant elements has reached new heights.
In a statement issued here on Friday, CPI (ML) State Secretary Sudhakar Yadav alleged that the barbaric attack on a Dalit youth in the Sumerpur police station area (in Tedha village) of Hamirpur district is living proof of the deeply entrenched, severe casteist and feudal mindset under the Yogi government.
