New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey on Monday said the new closing auction session (CAS) introduced earlier this month will remain in place, while indicating that the regulator is open to making changes based on feedback from market participants.
The CAS came into effect on August 3 as part of changes to the market-closing mechanism. Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of cyber reporting platforms at the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), Pandey said the regulator would address any operational constraints that emerge during the transition.
