Mumbai, Sept. 26 -- Four persons were injured after a car rammed into a Ganpati visarjan procession in Prabhadevi area of Mumbai, police said here on Saturday.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday near Indra Tower, Kaka Saheb Gadgil Marg during the procession of K.G. Markcha Raja.
The driver, identified as 21-year-old Pranav Rakesh Agrawal, was driving a Honda City car bearing No. MH 01 FD 7147.
It is alleged that he was driving rashly and at high speed and hit four persons participating in the procession.
All four sustained minor injuries.
Two of the injured were taken to KEM Hospital for treatment, while two others were admitted to a private hospital.
