Nahan, Aug. 5 -- A tragic road accident in Dingri Sarjet village, Pachhad subdivision, Sirmaur district, on Tuesday morning saddened the entire area. A car skidded off course during heavy rain and fell into a 300-foot-deep ravine, killing two brothers-in-law while a woman was seriously injured.
According to reports, the car (HP-52A-6482) carrying the passengers was returning home from Madhighat. At around 6:30 a.m., the vehicle lost control due to the continuous rain and fell into a deep ravine.
Tapendra Singh, son of Joginder Singh, a resident of Dingri Sarjet, died on the spot, while his wife, Prabha Devi, was seriously injured.
She has been admitted to Civil Hospital, Sarahan.
