Islamabad, Sept. 18 -- More than 15 people were killed and over 50 wounded in a car bomb attack at a mosque in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during Friday prayers.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief Zulfiqar Hamid said a vehicle packed with explosives detonated after colliding with the mosque's wall, according to TOLOnews.
He said reports of gunfire were also received after the blast.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has denied involvement in the attack.
The explosion created a crater outside a mosque, damaged its exterior, and caused a wall to collapse.
